Handmade tagliatelle by Onda Pasta
Pasta doesn't get enough attention in Hawai‘i-- a place where rice is the carb of choice. When Onda Pasta began popping-up at virtually every single farmer's market on O‘ahu, cooking up fresh pasta in simple sauces "just like his grandmother used to", I was hooked.
CookSpace invited Chef Andrea to the studio to teach a 90 minute class about handmade pasta. For this event, I executed duties during the sold-out class such as prepping stations, assisting students with questions, helping chef with anything he needed, service, and clean-up. I also served as the photographer, taking photos for a Hawai‘i News Now segment as well as CookSpace social media. To come full circle for our students, I quickly edited all content to create a "thank you" email that included highlights and recipes used in class that was sent to all participants.
